Based on our chat, You’ll then receive a personalised price package & scope, shaped around your project and what you need.
Once we’ve shaped the shoot into something that feels right – we’ll lock it in.
We’ll send through your booking info, contract and the final details.
Once the paperwork’s signed and locked away, the date is yours – fully secured and officially part of the This Is Art story. -

Most maternity sessions are held between 28–34 weeks, when your bump is beautifully round but you still feel comfortable. If you’re earlier or later, that’s completely fine – every pregnancy is different, and we’ll work with your timing.

Absolutely. We can shoot at your home, outdoors, in a studio, or somewhere meaningful to your family. We’ll suggest locations based on light, weather, accessibility and the vibe you want – soft and intimate, coastal, lifestyle, or something more polished.

Don’t stress – we guide you through this. Neutral tones, soft textures and comfortable clothing always photograph beautifully, but don’t be afraid of colour, personality and a little flare if that feels like you. The most important thing is comfort and authenticity. We’ll share suggestions and inspo, and you’re welcome to send outfit options for feedback before the session.

Yes. We capture every season – pregnancy, newborns, toddlers, older children, blended families and everything in between. Your family story doesn’t have an age limit.

Totally normal, and nothing to worry about. We work with a relaxed, play-based approach that keeps things natural and fun. Some of the best moments come from letting kids be kids.

Most sessions run for 45–90 minutes, depending on the style and how many people are involved.
Newborn sessions may run a little longer to allow for feeding, cuddles and breaks.

Yes – and they’re some of our favourites. Your home gives comfort, familiarity and authenticity. We use soft, flattering light and gentle direction so everything feels easy and real.
